Free Valuations

We hold a free valuation day every Tuesday, 10am–4pm, at 10-12 Cotswold Business Village, London Road, Moreton-in-Marsh GL56 0JQ. If you have anything you would like valued, do come and visit us to see what your items could be worth.

Every Tuesday at the saleroom

Kinghams Auctioneers offer a free valuation service for any item brought into the salerooms. An appointment with the appropriate specialist is advisable. Voluntary donations are welcome in aid of Cotswold Friends.

Valuation days across Central England

We conduct regular free valuation days across Central England, including Dorridge Village Hall in Solihull, The Bear at Stratford-upon-Avon and Peggotty’s Lounge near Towcester. Please contact the office for upcoming dates.

House visits

If you have a number of items to sell, or house contents, please email us to request a house visit with images and information on the items, and one of our expert valuers will be in touch to arrange an appointment.

1. Free valuation — bring your items to the saleroom, send photographs by email, or request a house visit.
2. The reserve — we usually recommend that goods are sold at the auctioneer’s discretion, allowing a 10% leeway on the lower estimate; alternatively we are happy to agree a fixed reserve.
3. Before the auction — you receive the lot numbers of your items with full descriptions approximately two weeks before the sale.
4. Settlement — sale results are sent within five working days, and settlement is started from four weeks after the auction, subject to funds being cleared.
